SUMMER 2023 SCARF AND HAT INVENTORY

A FEW NEW SCARVES OFF THE LOOMS

SUMMER BLUES

 

My own very first attempt at handdyed yarn. 

5/2 rayon from bamboo. It's so very soft. I love it so much. 

This was done in a class I took before Covid.

 It's taken me so long to decide what and how to make something. 

so it is scarves in my favorite RAKU pattern.

For the wefts I chose 8/2 Tencels.

I chose a dark Navy MB,

 a Sea Breeze Blue from Shiny Dime Handdyers, 

and a brown tone dyed to order

from the Carr Park Patina colorway.

 in Bordeaux, and Blackberry.

with pops of other reds and variegateds.

You have to see this to experience the true color and feel.

Chenille does not photograph well due to the texture and shine.
